Picture Of... TOBY! (not so Wordless Wednesday!)

One of the puppy raisers in our group was heading down to FL last week for Puppy Raiser Day (Graduation) -as the last dog she raised had just graduated.
I asked if at all possible, could she peek into the training kennel, and snap a picture of Toby for me.
What I woke up to this morning - was a very special email, enclosed with A PICTURE of Toby!
Though it's just "a picture", those are worth a thousand words. And this one sure was.
You can read his face in the picture, it's so sad and sweet at the same time.
She said Toby looked great, and all their siblings were doing fine.
I'm glad to hear that, and wish Toby the best of luck!

Picture taken through chain link kennel of Toby in a sit at the door. You can see his whole body, and to the left a stainless steel water bucket. Toby's face is somewhat sad - but also is very sweet looking. We know that face will cheer up once he's placed!!

  1. Aw Toby! It is kind of boring to wait in a kennel. Hope you gets lots of time training with your SEGDI trainer.

  2. Oh no, Toby!

You look so sad in there! I'm sure you'll have someone to play with soon!

    You do look strong though!

  3. Toby looks like he's a little sad not have anyone to play with. But I'm sure he's doing great! That serious look is the focus of a great dog.

  5. Oh, he does look kind of sad. I think it's the bars and the fact that doggies can look sad that make the photo so poignant.

  13. He does look a little sad, but maybe it is just the lightening and the bars - or maybe he is just in a serious mood!

    Thanks for sharing!

  17. Toby looks so sad in the kennel. What an adjustment these dogs have to make after being raised by their special handlers and then going back to school...

    Best wishes to you Toby,

  21. Oh, it's good to see Toby again. Hanging around in a kennel can be so boring, so he does look a bit pensive, but we're sure he's not sad. Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.

  24. It was great to see Toby again, though I'm sure you miss him terribly and though proud, it makes you sad to see him, and not be able to give him a big hug. I'm sure that he is going to be a great companion to someone because of the work that you did. :)
