A "Soapy" Update

Hey furry friends!
My raiser has (and still is) been furry busy lately. She's been busy making her Goat Milk Soap, because she will be attending a craft show sometime soon! I've tried to help her many times, but somehow she doesn't think my cool black dog hair goes quite well IN the soap bar...
So I have to stay on the other side of the baby gate during soap making time :(
She did promise me some soap to use for a giveaway if I want... so the next giveaway I do (for Christmas) may have some of her soap in it! My raiser was given another "gift card" to CSN stores, and she decided to order something furry cool for my Christmas giveaway. I can't wait to do the giveaway now! I know all of you guys will just love it :)
Enough on soap & giveaways -
My raiser has been going into town the past couple days, and I DID go with her. We have been working on not pulling, my raiser says I'm doing much better :) She also made me "leave it" at Tractor Supply... guess the deer corn has to stay on the ground. After she told me "leave it" once, I never even looked at the yummy corn again. (though I may have been thinking about it...).

My raiser has given me some time of the computer to view some of my furry follower's blogs, hope all is well; furry fun Thursday kisses!

My raiser says she loves the soap. Hope you get some to give away. What do you mean "leave it"? Aren't we allowed to play with it all?????

That's a great thing to be able to leave some tempting food alone if your raiser asks you to. You will make a fine guide dog!

I'd like to be able to make soap but have no idea how. Can you ask your raiser if its difficult?

You are a very good dog to try and help with the goat soap. Does it make people smell like goats? I don't think I'd want that...

P.S. Looking mighty handsome there.

It may be hard to believe, Rudy, but your raiser is probably less concerned about the ingredients-of-you getting into the soap than about the ingredients of the soap getting into you...

That is one of Mom's big dreams - to live somewhere she can have a bigger herd of goats and learn to make soap. She has one goat right now named Whiskey...

Our humans pretend that some things go better without our hair, too, but that just makes us work extra hard to get hair everywhere.
