Welcome back Toby!

I wrote this post about a week ago then I forgot about it after I wrote it. I thought I hit the publish button-Sorry!!

Sunday afternoon(July 26th) we went to Show mars to pick up Toby.

Toby's puppy sitters stayed for lunch, they also brought Cassie along with them.
She is soo cute & very lady like.
She & Toby sat across from each other while we ate lunch. That's when I noticed the paw size difference in Toby & his sister; his paws are like twice the size of Cassie's!!

Toby was really happy to see me, and very glad that he got into our car when we left. Though I bet he still misses his sister some, he is probably glad to be home!
I have attached a couple pictures of him at Showmars with his sister, (remember Toby is the one with the pawprint collar).

Enjoy!

Joan- Hello & goodbye!

Joan came to my house Saturday morning 1 week ago.
We left for 4-H congress early Monday morning.
Joan did great and got well over 200 comments on how well she behaved(there was over 1,200 kids there).
I took many, many, many pictures(most I attached), but blogger is not very good placing words with pictures so I am not putting words on top of them, sorry!! (when I only do a couple pictures it is easy to tell where the words go). Joan had fun staying in the dorms, she got to go many different places, including bowling & watching a 4-H musical. While bowling she decided to cram herself between the 2 "benches" (seen in picture below) and stayed there the whole time 'til we left!

After bowling we went out to eat then left to go watch the "4-H musical"- it lasted 1 & 1/2 hours. Joan slept through most of it, although when they got the whole audience to sing a "tooty tat" she jumped up and watched!
Joan attended 2 dances, the last dance most people wore prom or really nice dressess.
We were the first in line for the dinner, (first picture below).
Because at the last dance we were the last people in line, and had to stand in line for over a hour!
On Tuesday night Joan and I manned a Southeastern Guide Dog display table for all 4-H members, sponsors, and alumni. After all, part of being a puppy raiser is education and marketing. We sure did alot of both!
Joan was a really awesome dog. She goes back to training August 6, so I won't get to see her again. I will miss her, but I am glad to have Toby back(I just got him today)- blog post coming later:)

Bad news...

(Toby looking Depressed about puppy camping)

My trainer just told me that I am "going away" this coming week, and in return she is getting a different dog!

Here's what's going on:

My trainer is going to 4-H congress next week, and was planning on taking me, until she realized that I was too young and it would probably be too much for me (and I haven't slept on a tie down before), so she decided to call her area coordinator and see if she could switch dogs, (the other dog is over a year old), she agreed and we were planning on doing the switch-off tomorrow at the puppy meeting. Until the area coordinator realized she would have to fly somewhere and I would be to young to go with her. She told my trainer that she could still take her dog, but she would have to find a puppy sitter for me Toby.

After a whole lot of phone calls she finally found a helper. One of the families in our puppy group has 2 daughters that are both interested in raising. One already is(she has my sister Cassie), the other is waiting her turn.

So it is now final that I am going to their house tomorrow and not going to see my trainer 'til the following week, isn't that awful!!

I can't believe she won't take me, I am soo adorable, cute, & cuddly. Besides, I might've been able to "hold it" on the airplane.

But at least I will be able to play with my sister for a week!

Happy Fourth of July!!

HAPPY 4th OF JULY EVERYONE!!

My trainer took me to a 4th of July parade yesterday (Saturday), and Friday night she took me with her to work on the float, (which I got to play with my siblings while she was working:).

I got to walk in the parade, and my brother "Rocky" got to ride in the cute wagon!

About half way I got tired and rode the rest of the way in the float, a lot of pictures were taken and my trainer is posting some of them, I will do a separate post with pictures from Friday.
