Go green! (and vote)

Hey guys, I am back!
My trainer told me I did VERY good, and she got yet more job offers!

Friday night the group went out to see a $1.50 movie, (Julie and Julia). My trainer had no issues with the movie theater letting me in, and I got to be bored for hours on end:)
The hotel we stayed in kept having problems with me, and my trainer's mother had even called ahead to clear any issues with a guide dog in training going!

Saturday morning, we packed up & drove to a much nicer hotel (that did not have a issue with me:), to be with all the other 4-Hers.
My trainer took many workshops, but all I got to do was lay on the ground & be quite.

There was a dance Saturday night, but my trainer & her friends stayed in the "noise-free/ quite room" (which was louder then the dance room...) and she played card games all night long!

Sunday was our last morning, my trainer's district had to come up with a skit & chant.
As for the title of this post "Go green!" that had to do with the chant.
The conference ended at 11am, and we arrived back home later that day.

Sorry, but there are no pictures with me & my trainer, she kept forgetting to ask someone to take one! So enjoy photos of me & only me!!

And please vote for me! (My trainer entered me in a "cutest dog contest" from Hallmark)- I will be doing a post later on this subject:)

Operation Christmas Child

My trainer & her sister filled a couple shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child (OCC).
They took them to Chick-fil-A on Wednesday night to drop them off. They also brought me along!!
I got my picture with the sign, and man do I look good!!

I also found out today that I am going out of town... WITH my trainer:) - I caught her packing my food!
She is going to a 4-H event for a couple days, and decided I am old enough to go with her! (the last event was in July which was when she puppy swapped me for an older dog-Joan).

I went to puppy class last night & had a blast! ALL of my siblings were there, so it was like a "family reunion" :)
We worked on stays (trainer's go to the end of the leash), "find the door & switch" (my trainer & me went first!), "recal & heel", & most of all... jumping(or not jumping)!
I heard that we have new puppies coming Tuesday, so I will get to meet 6 new Lab puppies (all are black except for just one yellow!) at the Chirstmas party next month!

Enjoy the pictures from OCC & puppy class, my trainer will be sure to get lots of pictures of me at the 4-H event, & I will be doing a post sometime next week!
Don't forget to comment:)

Friday-Creation Muesum

Friday we went into Kentucky to visit the creation museum. I behaved really well until we came upon a dinosaur. I barked at it, but my trainer told me "no noise" then got a picture of me with it! When we arrived at the museum the police guard let us know that their "bomb dog" was on site, I got to see him on & off, he was a really pretty black Lab, who was not happy about me being there. Outside there was a swinging bridge, & a "floating" bridge which my trainer took me on. I was kind of scared at first, but soon walked across.
I had lots of fun!
Enjoy the many pictures my trainer took- and leave some comments!!

Thursday-Cederville University

Thursday we visited "Cedarville University" in Ohio where we spent all day touring the college. For lunch my trainer's family ate in the college's cafeteria & my trainer told me I did very well!!

I got soo many compliments from people, some even wanted to take me home! My trainer also got many job offers for her to trainer their dogs:)

My trainer has been sure to get pictures with anything and everything in site, this post has less than HALF the pictures she got of me at the college...

Enjoy the pictures & please leave comments!!

Good bye... and hello!

I kind of forgot to do a post before I left last week... my trainer & her family went out of town Wednesday morning & I went with them!!! I had soo much fun! We were in the car all day Wednesday- driving to Ohio. We also stopped at a store in WV, and they had some really cool (life sized)carved animals - which I wasn't too sure about...(a wolf wearing a sheep coat!?!?- and hunting dogs that don't smell like dogs??) My trainer made it all better though, because when we left she bought me 4 iced dog treats!!!

I found out the family we were staying with had a release CCI dog!! He was a VERY obedient dog! His name was "Hayden", and he was a black male lab- who will be turning 2 soon. He and I got along quite well - of course since I am a still a little "hyper" sometimes I had to stay beside my trainer the whole time, but during movie time at night we both shared the same bed, and bone!!
We also went to a college in Ohio, and a Muesum in Kentucky - but my trainer told me to do them in another post since she got WAY too many pictures! And didn't want this post to be "too" long:)
She took 190 photos... I told her I wasn't going to use them all!
Please enjoy the pictures, & comment too!
