Sleepy Tuesday

I've been furry busy doing a lot of sleeping lately...
- In the crate
- During my raiser's college classes
- During Church
- While my raiser is studying
- In the car
BUT, my raiser is making sure to spend time playing with me and work on obedience training (which is coming along nicely).
I'll be attending a puppy meeting this weekend with my raiser, and we'll be visiting with elderly people!

My First Christmas Party!

That's right - this is my very FIRST Christmas party that I've attended!
My raiser had many that she planned on attending - but most of them decided a Christmas party is better in January. So I've got many to attend NEXT month. I don't get why they call it a Christmas party... if it's after Christmas!?
Oh well! This Christmas party was quite fun; with lots, lots AND lots of food - but I wasn't allowed ANY at all to taste :(
I was a very good boy, and stayed in a down-stay while everyone ate - my raiser sat with a group of girls - who all decided to eat on the ground... which made my "leave it" very hard. But I was good - and didn't touch the food once!
After they took forever to eat - the girls opened each other's gifts; and handed out their homemade Christmas cards. then heading outside... to play flashlight tag! I was furry good at keeping my raiser running - I don't know if I ever stopped running...
Soon we got tired of playing and we headed to my raiser's friend's room to hang out for hours on end.
They turned on some awesome dance music... and danced to it - all while I was in a down-stay watching them dance. I wasn't allowed to join in on the fun at all :(
I was a good boy though; and didn't break the stay - even when they stepped on me a couple times...
My raiser is soo very proud at how well I did; and she even took my coat off later on in the night - and I stayed calm just for her!
My raiser looks forward to taking me to other Christmas parties (after Christmas) they are great exposures for me - and she's so happy I obeyed!
Below are some pictures of my awesome down-stay beside food (she didn't take any later on in the night - but may get some off her friend's camera).
Enjoy! (notice I'm wearing "my" Christmas collar in the pictures below- it is the same one Frankie & Toby both wore)
P.S - if you haven't already; don't forget to enter my giveaway that just started yesterday - it's for a hands free waist leash! One of my lucky readers that comment on the giveaway post - will win their very own leash :)
Furry Tuesday kisses!

Toby Tuesday - last times (2)

It's TOBY TUESDAY again!
The subject is "Last Times" (same as last Tuesday's subject) - my "last times" outing today was the 1 hour Kick Boxing class at the YMCA.

My Raiser even got a group photo with her, the teacher, 2 others AND me!

The 1 thing I'm going to miss most when I leave (besides my Raiser of course!) is the YMCA - that's one of my MOST favorite outings!
A 1 hour down-stay, watching people dance to music and then calling it "exercising"... but the BEST thing - I get to do a 1 hour SLEEP. Making many people think I'm "soo" good at a down-stay, but really I'm just sleeping! (I let them think what they want to think!).

So please enjoy the "last time" kick boxing photos below,
*(If you haven't already make sure to leave a comment on my giveaway post - enter to win a fantastic prize!)*

Toby Tuesday - last times

That's right, today is TOBY TUESDAY!
What's that? It's a post about Toby on a Tuesday!
Subject: Last Times...
Those are the 2 words my Raiser has just starting using in the last week :(

Some of my newer followers may not know this - but I will be leaving this blog, house, family, and my Raiser in 2 weeks 1 day. (Feel free to read the IFT post my Raiser wrote)
I am a guide dog IN TRAINING - which means one day I need that "In Training" to be taken off. I'm heading down to the guide dog school (where I was born) in 2 weeks... I will never come back, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER. (Yes I could get put out of the school - due to medical issues or something, but for my Raiser to be able to continue to raise she can't "adopt" me - as her family already has enough dogs!)
I will continue my training down at the school - for the first 2 weeks I will have medical tests/hip exams & such - if I pass all of those I will be put into training to become a guide dog (if I'm not chosen for a breeder). So once I return to the school after about 2-4 weeks my Raiser will be posting an update on the career I chose.
This blog will be used for the new puppy - we just don't know when, my Raiser wants a puppy when I return to the school - but she most likely will end up waiting 1-2 months.

Back to the subject - Last Times.
With me leaving in 2 weeks, my Raiser wants me to visit/say goodbye to everything, I have 2 more weeks to "finish" everything up here. And the most common saying at the moment is... "This is your last time here Toby" or "You only have 1 more visit to this place".

The time sure has gone by fast, I was just a cute little puppy, my Raiser carried me into meetings & let me ride in shopping buggies. But now, now I'm older, now I'm ready to start training at the guide dog school.
So you will be seeing some posts complete with pictures - of my "last times" at places.
Don't forgot - GABE is coming up TOMORROW!
My Raiser IS letting me do a giveaway - and it will be for her "dog style" Goat Milk Soap! So be looking for the post tomorrow! All you will have to do is LEAVE ONE COMMENT on the post to enter!
Enjoy today's pictures :)
